INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF PRIEST     

The International Meeting for Priests “Fidelity of Christ, Fidelity of the Priest” will be held at Rome, June 9 – 11, 2010.

This Meeting will include moments of prayer, confessions, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Holy Mass, Priests Testimonies, Conferences, sacred music and a celebration of Holy Mass presided over by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.

June 9, 2010 - “Conversion and Mission”. Will be held at tha Basilica of St. Paul Outside The Walls. Activities: prayer, confessions, adoration and Holy Mass.

June 10, 2010 – “The Cenacle: The invocation of the Holy Spirit in union with Mary and in fraternal communion”. In the morning the priests will meet at the Basilica of ST. Mary Major.
In the Afternoon, gathering at St. Peter’s Square for a vigil, with testimonies, adoration and moments for reflection and prayer, accompanied by music.

June11, 2011 - “With Peter, in ecclesial communion”. Friday June 11th, Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and as such the World Day of Prayer for Priests, the Holy Father will celebrate Mass in the Basilica of St. Peter closing the Year for Priests, convened to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of the holy Cure of Ars, patron of parish priests.

The event is promoted by the Congregation for Clergy and the logistics has been entrusted to the Roman Society for Pilgrimages (Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi), institution that depends directly from the Holy See through the Pope's vicary for Rome.

Registration and booking should be done through the Roman Society for Pilgrimages.
